I'm still almost done with school (GOD, CAN I BE DONE PLZ) with only two online classes to do. I guess I felt that they wouldn't be hard enough on their own, so I'm still being a part of a games collaborative project called 24 Hour Bloodline. Actually, not only am I part of the project, I'm (somehow) the lead animator/storyboard artist. Basically, this means I have a lot of work to kick out, and I'm not sure how much of it I can share on DevArt. But! The experience is invaluable, and I enjoy working with the people I do. I'm learning a lot, even when I fail and don't meet out team leader's expectations.
I'm also involved in a weekly Dungeons and Dragons group, as my one guaranteed moment of free- and fun-time. You may have already seen some of the characters in my gallery, and hopefully there will be more. Really, nothing inspires me as totally and completely as the stuff that happens at our game sessions. You guys will more than likely see more dnd stuff in the future.
My part time job at Starbucks continues to grind away at my faith in humanity, and while the increased hours (and thusly, paychecks) are nice, almost every day I think how much I can't wait to get a real job, something that requires me to use a pencil, or tablet, and utilize my creativity, not my capacity to apologize to the ungrateful, spoiled fucks who don't deserve to be coddled.
And on that note, I'll write again in teh future. Hey, Future Chris! How was the Harry Potter movie? Do you still have your wand and scarf?
